Default Need to rebuild my truck

I have had this truck almost two race seasons and have not replaced anything but all the diff internals. I want to completely tear truck down and replace all worn parts. How often do you change diff cases, diff housings, shock shafts(I assume only if they are bent), shock Pistons, etc

Thanks

I know from what I read there is no new or updated truck coming out, and I really like mine with a few exceptions. I'd like to see them not do the pocket in the chassis where you mount the ESC at that pocket there is a pain in the arse and see this a real simple fix for future kits or replacement chassis. . and I think 1 piece chassis braces like the MIP ones would be better and cheaper in the long run compared to all the individual parts for them now. And last I think it would be nice to have plastic parts for the 15 deg front blocks instead of the expensive alum. after market ones that everyone is going to on the newest setups. Just my 2 cents and don't think a new truck is really necessary as it is already fast and durable, it just needs a few tweaks.

What is the body of choice for the SCTE 2.0? I am awating arrival of my new to me truck from a fellow rctech member here and am considering painting up a body in my colors, but there is a ton to pick from. Any recommendations? Excited to do some indoor racing.

Stock or PL FloTek would be my recommendation.

The Pro-Line EVO body is one of the best in my opinion. The length of the EVO is perfect for the SCTE 2.0.

+1. But pay the extra $10 and get the precut one. It's a lot of work to dremel all the vents out on the regular body. Tower has it in stock for $38 free shipping.

HI guys,

I'm running a semi tight indoor track now, and I have way too much motor, I can be easier on the trigger finger but I think I'll be faster with a 550 2 pole.

Which 550 2 poles are you guys running. Smoother will definitely be faster here.

I just started running the turnigy motor from hobby king. I'm running the 4t and it's definitely smoother than any of the 4 poles I've ran. It's cheap too. Another plus is it's easier on the battery.

The turnigy is a 2 pole 550. Good luck finding that 4t orion. Only place I've seen them is in Europe. Even contacted orion and wasn't able to get one. That was last year though.

I just picked up a couple Orion motors, going to try both and see what works best for me.Picked up a nib old style Orion 2 pole SC550 4T and the new Orion 550 4 pole 4000kv outlaw motor. Ran a 4300HD last season.

The orion vst2 4t isn't available in the united states yet. I run a thunderpower 4.5t 550 with and orion r10 esc. Excellent power. People are surprised when they find out its a 2 pole.
