Any word on Ticn shock shafts for this truck? Getting ready to go thru mine soon and would sure like some. What is everyone doing for shock package on these trucks now? Pistons/shafts/seals and all that.

Nice work, same system here but I use the Mugen shims also the Mugen orings. The biggest tip I will give about keeping your diffs working proper is to Never light up the throttle when yer stuck on a pipe.Blip the throttle a few 1/4 pulls and see if it will wiggle off,if not Do Not give it full wood so that all four tires look like a top fuel dragster. You don't know how often I see this. You are heat treating the orings and what ever grease may have been there. Cheers!

Nothing wrong with stock shafts. The stock shafts, o-rings and pistons work really well. Orange rear springs are popular. I had good luck with MIP Bypass shocks. Can't say it was the easy way to go, but the amount of tuning options make them a nice tuning tool once you learn how to use them. The number one thing that makes the shocks last and perform are shock boots. The boots are thin and don't last as long as I would like. However, you can use the same seals and shock parts a year or more without leaks from wear just by keeping them clean.

Thanks. Please share Mugen part numbers that fit.

Your tip is spot on. Throttle happy when stuck under pipe is so bad on spur gears and tires as well. That's burning money in every possible way IMO

Just to squash this one, we are not working on a 3.0 just yet. We are still making the 2.0. We just have a minor delay with some parts updates going on is all.

Is it really going to be a three month wait? Am getting back to racing after a twelve year break , got a 22-4 and wanted the scte 2.0 for indoor season and no dice..... Shame of it all was my XXX-T MF's are all but extinct. I still have three of em and tons of parts/tires for em. Got rid of the XXX-4 GP's way back though. Kind of wished I sold the XXX-T MF's and kept the XXX-4's.
