I hope for the next version they will fix the slop of this car. Turnbuckle are getting sloppy so fast... I bet they will announce soon a new truck available for the outdoor season.

The slop is what makes these trucks fast!

What all would they change in a 3.0 version? I'd like to see the new hubs as a kit part instead of option, a two piece center diff brace that allows the diff to come out the top instead of removing it from the chassis. Bearings in the Ackerman plate instead of bushings. Higher quality cvd pins in the driveshafts. Might even be cool to have a shock similar to the 8ight series that uses a tapered spring. A radio tray similar to the 8ight 3.0. Oh, and hardware that doesn't strip out lol

I don't think its a 3.0 change... They did a pretty good job with the 2.0. its got better shocks (going to 3.0 shocks isn't a huge upgrade depending on the track), the balance is good, etc.

heck I think the 2.0 is easier to drive then the 1.0 but they are both just as fast with the right drivers/styles.

I really think its going to be a "new" truck if anything.

hunting around most places are clearing out Associated and TLR parts... but the long backorder of the 2.0 has me thinking.

All those changes would be nice but it will not change how the truck runs compared to what we already have.

Yeah I'm sure there would be some suspension and steering geometry to change as well.

I love my 2.0 it's a great truck. It would be hard to improve on that's for sure

its funny the progression of the truck. When they a fresh and tight they like to be driven that way. Over driving them doesn't pick up any time. as the "break in" you can be more wild with it and you end up picking up time... and the over driving doesn't translate to an uncontrollable truck.

we have a new track opening in Feb 2015... our old one closed. some of us sold out and are trying to buy back in now that we know the track is actually going to open... but I guess I need to wait even longer.

I could only hope for a simple 4 screw diff access. I have to change diff oil and keep putting it off because it seems like a complete tear down and rebuild of the truck.
