What do you guys think of the aftermarket chassis kits for the SCTE 2.0? I bent mine and I'm looking for a replacement now. Kingheadz, BCE, or stick with the original TLR chassis? I broke the rear chassis brace plastic rod end at the same time I bent the chassis. I'm more a basher than a racer, so whatever I get, I just want to be sure I'm getting the strongest set-up. I also want to order MIP's front and rear chassis braces at the same time. Thoughts and advice welcomed!

For quality you can not go wrong with either the BCE or the Kingheadz. I personally run the BCE and love it.

I've bent my stock chassis 3 times. I just bend it back...

Thanks guys. I guess all of these chassis designs are probably prone to bending. It's the chassis brace that needs to be stronger. I saw a video on youtube of a guy who was running some STRC chassis braces, but I don't know what the part number for them is. They look stronger than anyone else's that I have seen. I've even thought about machining my own braces, but if it's quicker and cheaper to buy something, I'd rather do that.

Ran same stock chassis and braces on Tyler's 2.0 all winter with zero issues. Can't wait to build his new one next winter with the new caster blocks!! His truck this winter was so good it's hard to beleive to can get much better.

The problem with a super stiff chassis brace is that it actually causes u to lose rear tractiin the stiffer that u make them. I have the bce v2 chassis and switched to the 1.0 plastic rear brace. Seemed to gain a little more rear traction that way and have not noticed any negative effects since doing the mod.

He's bashing mainly though so strength is the key.

Interesting about the chassis flex aiding in rear traction. That's where the words flex tuned come from, I suppose. I mainly am a basher, but I thought if I could find a few local tracks, maybe I'd join in the fun, just to give it a try. Who knows, I might like it.

So what do you guys think of the MIP chassis braces?

Track driving is where its at. I used to bash only as well. Get a transponder to hear your lap times and you will be hooked and racing in no time!

Edit- I am running the MIP rigid chassis braces and don't notice any loss of traction, gone are the days of breaking plastic ends...

I've been running the MIP braces since I switched to the BCE hybrid chassis. If you need a bit more compliance you can add an o-ring under the chassis mounting point to allow it to gimbal a bit more.

The pre-cutout body has a lot of holes. Can you post a picture of the 5 holes you cutout of the solid body? Thanks!

Default Diff Question

Does anybody know if Losi's smartdiff's will fit in the Ten SCTE 2.0? If you have how did they work.
