The 12mm shocks work but I am not happy on the quality and I have built mine every different way and am still not very happy with how they feel. Don't get me wrong, I did finish first in our local series with the stock 12mm shocks but the 3.0 buggy shocks are awesome and I will be much happier if I can get them to work.

The spring rates are probably too stiff.

I only run on large outdoor tracks so I am going to run the lighter spring with lighter wt oil and I will tune with piston.

Running Casper/Dunford setup with 5-5-5 diffs. Truck is very good overall but I've recently started pulling the front wheels up under hard acceleration after flat landing on rutted, dusty track. Ideas? Other than hit the downside I mean. LOL

So your saying you have so much rear taction you are pulling wheelies hitting the throttle after jumps?

And your problem is?

Sounds like you may need to go up in oil or go down a hole size in piston as the car does not sound like it has enough pack?

Or as you said time your jumps better or apply throttle a little smoother if you flat land.

I have just received a new body for the truck. Part number TLR8061. Wow! It feels so much more sturdy than the one that came in the kit. Why didn't the 2.0 kit have this body rather than the thin one that was supplied?

This is only a very minor comment. We're still totally in love with the truck.

Ok thanks for the suggestions around pack and oil. I'll give those a try.

Yes, that seems to be the only complaint about the kit, and the 22 SCT kit too. It is rumored that Losi turned GREEN for a while and was experimenting making bodies from used sandwich bags.

The initial shipments of the bodies were out of the material we asked for. However, they were stretching them so much they got thinner than we would have liked but they were still ok. We have since gone to an even thicker material and that will translate over to the kits as well.

Thank you for the explanation Ryan. How can you tell if a kit has the old or new body in it? We're thinking about buying another kit so that we can replace the 1.0 RTR and stop the fighting between my son and I over the 2.0

The RTR can then become a donor for spares. Not that we've needed anything major in the last year. It amounts to one servo horn and one replacement body. Your products are fantastic. Thank you.

Not sure there is anything you can use to gauge that. they fixed the bodies a while ago so it just depends on how old the stock would be on the kit.

Hi folks, I am trying to get one TLR TEN-SCTE 2.0 kit, but heard that there is a new version will be coming up soon, is it the case?

Truck isn't that old. Not sure what else there is to make it better. Well, maybe some different o-rings for diffs so we can leave out the metal shim that gets chewed up quick. Tyler loves his 2.0 and it is dialed!
