I did that this weekend because we had a sharp 90 degree after the straight on a really high bite track. Helped in that corner but it didn't feel as good on the rest of the track.. Try it

What's the over all favorite body for this truck? I like how the stock body handles but they last me a few days... I tried the new PROLINE body and went right back to the OEM for race day even though it was BEAT.

My question is what is a good esc/motor setup that is affordable?
I was told Viper copperhead r w/ vx4r.45. Is that a decent esc?
And what is a good servo?
I was also told MKS ds1210 servo
That package is cheap but I want to make sure I'm not wasting my money. Can someone please help.

Thank you,

Hobbywing XERUN-SCT-PRO 4600kv,
savox 1267 (more torque) - or 1258 cheaper

I have a proline flotek and a JConcepts hi flow. After I'm done with these it will be the Losi body from here on out. None of the aftermarket bodies fit right. I have a hard time keeping the rear body pins in because of how far forward it has to be. I guess you could remove the body mount spacer on the shock tower and set them back some but it seems like the losi body fits better and performs just as good as any others. I also had to trim the shit out of my front fenders on the aftermarket bodies.

Coyote Raceway for the TNS. It had so much traction I was running my LRH set up.. LRH still has more traction. The most bite in our area in my opinion.

Default Center Link

I don't know why no one has made a center link like this for the SCTE. With all the carbon fiber replacement options it would seem easy to make one from CF with bearings. I would buy a set.

Funny, I tried a different body on my son's truck and he hated how it felt. So much so, I had to go back to the house and get the old beat up body so he could race. The Losi body is half the weight of the others. That's the only thing that I can come up with why he hated the other body.

I also had to trim the other bodies a bunch to get them to fit. I finally gave up and stuck with the Losi body. It will be the only one for me.

Same here! I replace them just because the holes are worn out.

Jconcepts Illuzion F250... its been the best for my 1.0 and 2.0... its easy to dial in front traction, but inside or out, keeping the rear planted is key!

I use small amount of drag brake on short tight tracks, but on outdoor 1/8 type tracks I use NO drag brake..
