So my question is should I buy the 2.0, or get the Tim bump chassis? I love the way the bump looks and every one I have talked to says its amazing. Price is not a problem. I have the electronics so I only need the 2.0 or the bump chassis. I have driven multple 2.0s and they are AWESOME. I have never drove a scte with the bump chassis though. So just please help. Thanks in advance
I use to run the 8ight shocks with the 1.0 and they worked very well for me on large outdoor tracks.
I remember using red springs up front and silver springs down rear.
I think oil was 35-40wt for front and 25-30wt for rear depending on ambient temps.
Don't know if you are trying to use them on the SCTE while they are still setup for the 8ight but it sounds like you are from what you are describing.
Good Luck

I'm surprised I have yet seen any type of transponder holder mounts for the "loaner" transponders. I know most just drill a hole in the body and mount it on the body, but I poking holes in my freshly painted body. I made one for my truck tonight using body trimmings. I cut, trimmed, and mounted it on the front shock risers.

That's why you go and buy your own transponder, instead of relying on "loaner" transponders..... Lol, if you can afford a $450 kit, I think you can wing $90 for a transponder of your own

If not, cut some scrap pecan and make yourself a little upside-down U-shaped holder for your loaner transponder. Using the same 1/4" hole + body clip holding style.

What makes the old rear silver springs in the new setup sheet better then any of the new springs?

Isn't the spring kit the same?

I tried silver and went back to orange.

It was designed for the Slash and SC10 and listed the SCTE.
Might try an HPI body. I've seen pics on this thread, looks good.

I should clarify I meant the spring kit. It has not been updated. The orange spring that came with the 2.0 is the same that came in the spring kit (purchased seperately) for the 1.0
