It's the shock boot off the sc10 4x4. All my buddies run them and they work great. We also use the sc10 4x4 shock spring retainer cup as well.

We have spoken about it but still not sure what we will do there. Thanks for asking though as it shows some want for it.

Default TLR331008 Aluminum Top Brace - SCTE

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know we have a new part up on the TLR site for the SCTE 2.0. Some of you have asked for it for a bit and with the release of the 2.0 and the way the front chassis brace mounts, we finally felt it was a good part to offer.

It is an Aluminum Top Plate or front triangle as I usually call it and it will suffice to stiffen up the front end a little and helps steering be a bit more accurate.

It is already in stock.

For all of you 2.0 guys I had a scte 1.0 and I'm switching to the 2.0. How do you guys like the differences? My 1.0 was dialed and I'm hoping the 2.0 will be even better.

is that stupid plastic piece that goes under gone and part of the alum top plate? I would buy that just to get rid of that piece.

LOL, no, you will still need that. That exists there to help remove the front tranny without having to remove that triangle so they felt it should stay.

That's how King Headz makes it for the 8ight series.
I do like it better like that too but the front bulkhead does not come out as easy without the space the plastic piece provides.

I hate to take the top plate off to do something, i forget,. All I remember was the 20 minutes it took to get it back in place and bolted up. I might just glue it in place and call it done.
