Is the rear hopup/extended brace for the 1.0 the same as the stock rear brace on the 2.0?

I really like the KingHeads aluminum sleeve and rubber boot for the front and rear driveshafts. Boot keps the grease in and dirt out, and if the joint wears, the sleeve keeps the pin from blowing through the plastic retainer.

No. I believe the 2.0 is a little longer.

Anyone know if you can use the o-ring that are in the bottom of the the 22 shocks in the 2.0 shocks? I am using the low friction o-rings in my 22b and wanted to know if and how they would work in the scte.

You need a 1mm spacer in there.

It looks like it will work if I use the bottom cap and insert from a 22. I just wonder why tlr used the o-ring that's in the scte shocks and not the ones that come in the 22.

The build that is in the SCTE does not leak and lasts a very very long time. 4WSC is a class where a lot of people set their cars up and then run the crap out of it without much maintenance. So, we chose to stay with this setup.

I agree it works well. I just got the 22b and put the low friction o-rings is and it feel much smoother then my scte shocks when new. I didn't know if it would work or not. I just like how smooth the 22b shocks were. Just wanted to know if it could have been another tuning option.

Describe a bit more please:

First use the LOSB2906 (stock) shock hat
Then a Low friction oring
Then TLR5090 hat washer
Finally TLR5086 shock cap

I'm on my phone so can't look up all those part numbers but if they are all the stock 22 parts for the bottom of the shock then yes. I am going to try it tonight or tomorrow and see if it works. I have spares of everything to try this. I will post back if it works.

A lot of us are using 22 low-friction O-rings in the SCTE shocks. The easiest way to do this is to just replace the stock O-ring with a 22 low-friction O-ring and a 1 mm spacer. You can get the perfect spacer as part of TLR5096. So the combination of the 22 O-ring and the 1mm spacer take the place of the stock O-ring. All other parts remain the same.

That's it? That's easy. No leaking problems with just 1 o-ring? I will give it a try.

Yep, it has been discussed many times on the SCTE V1 thread. I haven't noticed any leaking, although I would expect the seal will be less durable. I would expect to do rebuilds more frequently, but most racers do that anyway.

The 22 bottom shock caps do not work on the scte shocks.
