The steel spur is worthless. All it does is make your truck louder and you might end up with more heat in your motor since its alot heavier. Durability isn't even an issue with the plastic spurs..

While 1 and 2 in stock form works just Fine, Those are really nice upgrade's and worthy of the $$ spent.

I didnt quite understand what you said about the King Headz stuff? Is it a worthy upgrade or...?

1. King Headz motor mount SCTE 036
2. King Headz centerdiff front upright SCTE 035

Yes, they are very good products. They support the center diff outdrives much better and should reduce wear over time on the outdrives. Use those!!! Don't throw them away!!!!

They are great upgrade parts. They have an extra bearing on each side which can only make for a stronger mount and smoother drivetrain. I installed them on my 2.0 truck and they have been great so far.

Dont toss em, Try em first. Then if you decide to toss them, Offer them up to someone who might need them. Heck there's a Noobie at my local track with aftermarket EVERYTHING on his SCTE, im sure he would love to have some more bling,

What is your goal in making the purchase?

Anyone new to racing....if you have $100 burning a hole in your pocket send it to me.....just kidding. Seriously, if you are new to racing and have a decent car to begin with (the 2.0 definitely qualifies as decent) spend absolutely 100% of your money on practice time. I guarantee that this will make you significantly faster than any upgrade you can do with the same amount of money. I'm still driving a 1.0 and doing pretty well and it is completely the result of practice time and learning how to tune it. None of it has anything to do with any fancy components that I stick on it. And driving it is fun so it's money very well spent!!! Trust me!

2 yrs ago I would say yes I was more in to the bling just for the sake of bling than creating a true race truck. My 1st truggy was a losi and i added every gh racing alum part they made because it was copper and no one else had them. i would not do that today. These days I'm a little more practical (I did say little). I have beat the piss out of this 2.0 last weekend and all I did was destroy a body. I would say yes to the rear but I have not seen the front fail so no to the front. If the front does fail I would defiantly replace it with alum. I'm not very familiar with the company that's making them but it depends on your final goal. I'm more into lighter (TI parts), more refined esc/ motor/ battery combo and the right shock setup these days. I am looking forward to the BCE chassis as the stock feels strange to me, some say springy but idk. I can tell you this I am faster with the 2.0 than with the 1.0 so it can't be bad. Bottom line is do what you want, if you want alum spindles and carriers then run them. If they pose an issue pull them off. I would look at how the driveline sits in the cup as I have seen some aftermarket mfg's pull the driveline out of the cup to the point that it pops out when using alum spindles and carriers. Most of all build it the way you want and have fun at the track. My buddy calls it "Dr. Evil" with me. You can tell by all of a sudden I'm making the quad that no one else is (btw it's not faster) just because I can and the grin on my face says it all... I'm having a blast
