I just picked one of these kits up too. Hope to have the time to start building this weekend. Still need to pick up a couple odds and ends. My son has been running a 22sct rtc for the last month or so and winning rookie classes. He's 8 first time driver. Happy to be back into the hobby again. This is a great board lots of info.

I redid my diffs for the first time. I have been running it for the past 2 months every Tuesday. I noticed that the outdrives have a decent amount of play in the diff cup and the top. I don't remember this much play when I put the truck together or on my 1.0. Has anyone else noticed this?

I had great success this way. Still tons of steering but the rearend stayes pretty planted in tight corners.

Just completed my first Losi build with the SCTE 2.0, so completely new to this model, but not RC cars. All electrics installed and up and running.
Last thing is to paint the shell, but first I wanted to make the body post holes.
It seems that the supplied template is not relevant as the I think the body should be more forward for the front wheels to clear.
Can anyone give me some dimensions or usefull pics of where the body post holes should go, before I make a mistake!
Also what is the typical height for the body posts?

I pretty much run my body slammed down as low as I can. I think the body mounts are the lowest they can be adjusted to.

I ran the current dunford setup minus having the 2 hole pistons on a looser dirt track with lap times around 35-36second this past weekend. I tqed and won the main, i ran lap times quicker then most of the ebuggies. I am loving the setup keep it up Dunford and casper!
