I had the same problem at my track on the triple. I moved the battery all the way back and it was perfect!

Flip the tabs on the motor, so instead of them facing back put them to where there facing forward. They're held in by solder so just heat em up and they'll slide right out.

Question on setup

I'm really happy with the car but I let on of the fast kids at the track run it and all he said to improve was a little more steering...

How can I achieve this?

1) more toe out?
2) a faster servo? Currently running hitec 7945 (403oz and .12 @ 7.4 but the mmp only goes up to 7.0v)
3) tighten my servo saver screw more? Pic shows how tight it currently is and I can't really tighten it more by hand at least...

Are you using dunford's setup he posted? I use his setup and I have steering to spare. One thing also to check would be endpoints. I noticed on my 2.0 I could get more travel then my 1.0 before binding.

Servo is ok. You can always take some pliers and adjust the nut a little more, better if you use threadlock.
From THE guide:

More Overall Steering:
Lower shock mounting in on arm.
Thinner oil in front shocks.
Softer front springs
Stiffer rear springs
Short rear upper link
Longer front upper link
Thinner or no front swaybar
Less rear toe in
Short Ackermann plate

Chassis tape is for the 2.0. It covers then entire bottom of the chassis from the very front of the front bumper all the way to the rear. Covers up all the screws is one draw back but you can cut out screw if you need to access the chassis screws.

I meant the xtreme racing transponder mount but reading the description it looks like it mounts to the 1.0 rx box. I think ill stick with the kingz heads

Hello Everyone..I got rid of my Heckno.lol..I purchased a used losi 2.0 roller that has only 2- 5 min of runtime.I would like to know how long of sensor wire I need for a Tekin 550 motor?I am gonna mount my RX8 with the soulder post inside next to the front driveshaft..

Also,Do the tie rod ends cut mark go to the outside of the truck?

Thanks,

275 is about the right length just to give alittle slack in the wire

and i beleive the marks are suppose to be facing the same side...so if your looking at the front of the truck...all the marks should be on either the right or left. I beleive if looking from the front of the truck and the rear is in the distance mine are on the right but if like a normal truck mine are facing the driver side, lol
