Running on a low traction outdoor track how does the 2.0 compare to the 1.0?

Keen to here how it steers and jumps from guys who have had the 1.0.

I did search but can't seem to find the info I'm after. Thanks.

IMO, my 1.0'was dialed wih all the upgrades and drove awesome. The 2.0 has potencial right from the box and minor setup changes. To me: moved the battery back, leaned shock on rear tower, diff 5/7/3.5 (from 5/7/2) and shocks 32.5/30 so far. Looking for more steering and less nose dive.
The biggest and best upgrade I did to the 1.0 was a BCE chassis.

I posted this over in the 1.0 forum too...anyone interested in seeing if Chris from Leadfinger RC would make the rod end balls out of SST instead of aluminum?

Well I think I have a first for things that were missed. Motor mount was not drilled and tapped. This is getting a bit lame. Quality of losi kits sure has gone down hill!

Ok weelll your is the first of thousands im sure sold that we have heard of a few holes missed...
things happen
Back in the day of XXT's we got kits that came with tires that half the tread didnt get molded .
and the body was for an earlier version and didnt fit....
the XXT was pre Horizon so it was truly Losi thengot xxx4's that came with XXXS chassis that was 1/2 inch shorter couldnt really tell until tried to tighten the belt and well...
It was like they knew they were wrong but needed to get the kits out and sold. when we phoned they didnt ask one question just sent the parts that were correct.
They did at least fix it but its dissappointing to have to wait for parts when you wanna get it built!

Anyone running the most rearward battery tray possition ? I have it in the middle but would like a tad more nose up after some bigger jumps. Should I try that or just leave it and try to adjust my driving?

Man, that sucks....ive had to call twice to get things that were funky but its not the quality of Losi/TLR, its the quality control(people ok'ing the parts going out).

BUT all you have to do is call and within a few days you'll have a new part, its not that much of a hassle, be glad they have awesome customer support and you cna even call the other service # for direct line in and they even call you back when your call is next in line

Dont get any better than that

IMO moving the battery back 1/4" probably won't change much on a 6# truck. I would adjust your driving to compensate. The 1.0 had a more forward weight bias and guys were able to make it work just fine.

Ya I meant quality control. I also did expect a bit more with the quality of the fasteners and the plastic in general. It's deffinately not the same quality as the 8ight kits.

Hey guys, with the sway bars there one that's thinner than the other. Does the thicker of the 2 go in the front or back? I have a feeling they were packaged backwards.

Got my truck finally together, stripped on diff screw but after that figured it out, got my LOSI shock wrench to bite on plastic bottem shock caps to get them to probably thread all the way up.
