Hi Ryan, just sitting here building the SCTE 2.0 and notice that the screws for the center diff have 2 screws that are stripped or over size holes. No tool that i have will work, how can I get 2 new screws?
Thanks Andrew

Call Horizon and tell them. I called and said the same thing along with the lower shock caps and they sent me new ones. Most likely the new shock caps you get will still be the old ones, so just wait a while till the new ones come in.

when ive seen the 1/8 losi's break a tower its Never taken out the steering top plate. the tower has no leverage on the plate so it just snaps off the 2 little screw tabs.

I havent experienced this at all, if you are referring to the 4 little screws taht hold the diff together, that uses a 1/16th and if you have anything bad, you can always call horizon support and they will gladly get you taken care of. LOSB3591 are the diff screws only if thats what you are referring to.

Can this truck take a beating? I dont race or plan to race at all, i just like something of nicer quality then my traxxas. I was thinking of taking my brushless e-revo electric components and slapping it on the 2.0. I think it will be able to withstand the power since the SCTE is a buggy base layout.. but i would like to hear from you guys first..

Thanks
The truck has proven to be very durable. The suspension is basically from the 1.0 (with some upgrade parts now) and they have proven the test of time with lots of beating and abuse. If you try hard enough will you be able to break it. Sure but this is one tough truck.

I was just giving you the part number to make it faster for you to call . No need to order them as well, haha. Although if you just want to get it going and are willing to spend a couple bucks, any m2.5 x 10 - m2.5 x 12 screw will also work.

Ya ,alum will bend before plastic breaks ,only seen one stock plastic one break. My point was just to show the abuse I gave it And to share my thoughts about the stiffer plates.I
rebuilt the diffs with Mugen o rings and shims using Mobil 1 red syn grease. will see how well the shims hold up.The red grease is supposed to protect the silicon o rings ,we will see!!Good luck to all the 2.0 racers this weekend as well!!! Cheers!!!!

My Radiopost 2207M (Green) servo stopped working. I thought it was my servo-saver being too tight but when I actually detached it the servo-saver wasn't tight at all and was functioning fine...

I was pretty impressed with the Radiopost. If money is no object, what is the absolute best servo (speed & torque wise) available ? Is there anything better than the Radiopost or have I already killed the best ?

Edit: it wasn't my servo-saver after all.. no idea what the cause was then.

I've got my eye on the Protek 150s servo.
Anyone got good / bad experiences with Protek servos ?
