Hay Ryan,
I would also like to here what your running for your RX8 setup. Randy also helped me out and said yes to decrease the current limiter to reduce wheel spin.
Thanks

Lol I have same issue and ordered the 275mm tq so I can't run at my local track tonight! Also I'm not gunna read through 150+ pages but found several errors in manual, the biggest one is that the mud guards are side specific, the one with the lip goes on the battery side. They Do not ( or I cannot find a L or R on them) have markings and if u put the battery side on the motor side u cannot slide motor to fit a 14 tooth on it. Just FYI for anyone on the build
Easy fix but if u don't know, u will soon find out!!

Nitrohouse.com, if they carry that item. My favorite place to get things fast in California.

Thanks!!!
Always happy to share...this is from memory...lol...and the important stuff.
As always, I will give my disclaimer that brakes are the biggest cause of heat issues and while I set them at 100 in the esc, they are always down between 45-55 on my radio. Definately using the 223 software...so nice! Geared with 14 tooth pinion and stock 40t spur.

current limiter - 80%
drag brake - 12 (this is not for everyone and takes some getting used to)
timing at factory end points and 10%
expo is linear
brake strength at 100 (again turned way down around 45-55 in radio)
neutral width at 32
throttle min at 3
brake min at 0

This was explained in the first post by Hacker07(Ryan) in the Build tips here

Side-Guards (F-1) – When installing the side-guards onto the chassis, at first glance, they look the same, however they are different. One side holds the battery in place and one side allows room for the motor. If you look along the inner edge of the guards, you will notice one has a high spot and the other is low the entire way. The one with the high spot is for holding the battery and is the left guard and the other lower one is the right guard.

Just another reason why the title needs changed so people read the first post like they did with the 22SCT....

I am picking one if these up this week. What are the best tires and foams for indoor clay?

I had 2 in my hands the other day and it was weird but they both felt lighter than what I remembered my 1.0 felt like.
