Hey Durango, there is Casper and Hacker representing TLR and Horizon answering just about every question on here. Even on weekends! Is that what you call second to none customer service?

Never mind I think I read that wrong. I'm sorry. Reading too fast between meetings.

Yes they are supposed to go on all the way. They will thread on with sufficient effort. Ryan has a great tip on how to get these on in his build tips on posted on the TLR Blog page. (see first post of link! )

Sooo I've read all the tips, the order has placed (now that our non HCP shop can order) and it should be here on thursday woo hoo.
It will be fun to build its been a while XXXT about 3 years back and a couple BRP SC18's the last kits.
I will be doing mine and helping a complete noob do his at the same time.
It will be great to introduce our great hobby to him from the nuts and bolts on up to soldering in the ESC.
It should be a few good nites work and its supposed to SNOW again starting this afternoon.
so there no big panic yet we can build at a relaxed pace with a few beverages on the bench with us... AS long as the snow doesnt slow down the brown truck with the toys on board!!!

Couple nights

The build took about 5 hours, with 7 vodka lemonades and some chinese food.

It's always fun helping a noob out with a build. I hope you both have your own set of tools!

Rebuilt diffs on one of my 1.0's with the new stuff and prethreading works fine especially with power tools...
Heat gun at the ready if necessary for the shock bottoms...
