Default More advice needed.. Esc selection

I ended up with a losi 22 as my buggy and the last part I need is the esc motor combo. I want to keep the combo price to about -+$200. 13.5t

That narrows down to the speedpassion, viper and Novak. Can anyone give me advice which way to go?

I would go with the one that includes a programming box. VERY IMPORTANT as trying to adjust the settings from the esc's is a PITA. The SP reventons come with one I know, not sure on the viper and Novak is no.

I use SpeedPassion and love them. The power band is so smooth I smile everytime I ease into the throttle. A lot of guys at the track use Viper and the only complaint I have heard is they are a little overwhelming on the adjustments. From what I understand they can fine tuned more than most and it can overwhelm some folks. That could be a plus though. I think between Speed Passion and Viper you can't go wrong. Both have excellent products and support.

go to falcon and get a extreme stock hobbywing combo with the 13.5 motor you will not be dissapointed. I race w/ that and its outstanding. My last esc was the tekin rspro and yes it's better and has a program box free in the combo. obviously just my opinion but my lap times are down with this setup vs the rspro and revtech or with the d3. PS speedpassion, orion all the same basic stuff.

In that price range, I'd recommend the Viper setup.

1 thing I did not like about the Reventons is the on/off switch is in the esc and is tiny. Tried to put in my rb6 but couldn't get to the button so had to pull it.

Another +1 on the Viper. I've seen a few guys with them here in the PNW and they perform great.
