what mod electric motor for truck?

what do people run now a days in electric mod truck? i havent ran since the days of the D3.5 so i am not to sure what people are running now. i know brushless is popular but i dont want to run brushless. i have two tracks i race at one is big where 1/8 runs and one is small and tight. waht motors should i use?

anything V2 (revolution) based. best motors i have ever run, and the easiest to maintain by far! www.teamorion.com www.peakmotors.com www.fantommotors.com

I personally like Reedy and Trinity motors. I haven't tried the Orion or Peak motors. But from Reedy go with the KR and from Trinity- Cobalt, D6. If the track is tight use a flat wire, if open go with a round wire. (i believe thats right, say on trinitys site if im wrong). For the turns, if you have a good traction, go with a 10-12 turn and if its slippery go with a 13-14 (leaning more to a 14).

We had a huge discussion about this already.....look for the MOD MOTOR thread or "which mod motor" thread....very informative!
