Ordering my Losi 22 Buggy RTR
I'm getting ready to order a Losi 22 Buggy RTR. Anyone have any insight or concerns.

Its a solid car, when i had them i rarely broke anything. For racing the Associated car worked lots better for me though. Much easier to set up for track conditions. If you are going to your local track to race I suggest the Associated car, its much easier to drive in my opinion.

Keep it clean. Use a tooth brush and paint brush to brush away dirt from bearings, shocks and drive shafts. Don't abuse it by attempting to power out of "stuck" situations, this can ruin the motor and speed control, better to walk over and free it by hand. Take it to the track and practice.

THIS.
Also look into upgrading parts from the RTR to the more "race" ready parts, but do it as you break parts or get to the point that you are outdriving the RTR spec parts. Until then you're just throwing money at stuff you don't particularly need.

Thanks for the help. I just wanted to make sure there were not any major issues that I was not aware of. It looks like a solid buggy so I'm placing my order now.

Change of plans... I ordered the Team Associated RC10B4.1. the ONLY reason is price because I want to convert my Revo 3.3 to BL electric and used the extra money I saved to buy the Tekno conversion kit. I hope the RC10B4.1 will be close in performance and handling to the Losi 22. I can't wait to build my Revo and see how it runs.

This is a good read for any 22 owner. It will give you an idea of what can be added to the car. It is a good car even without adding anything though.
