At this point it would make more sense to buy a new kit. But now I'm thinking the RT6.6 has got to be right around the corner.

<Shameless plug>

You could pick up a nice used RT6 in the for sale section

Agreed on the 6.6. I dont think I would be running a laydown truck though, I had a 22T 2.0 and with the stock diff case, it's pretty damn close to laydown, and it was a handful. I would just update the parts to new chassis and sideguards. Hopefully they incorporate Tebos prototype tower and arms.

Spotted back in December, the JTP shock towers are out. The front one is pretty interesting.

I'm interested in upgrading my ST to the RT6 or the XT2 and wondering what would work on outdoor packed dirt best. I feel the RT would be the best but I also see its out of stock so that's got me wondering the availability of product..
Thoughts on it for hard packed loom dirt track?

I placed my order 5 days ago but it's still on back order, hopefully it's not a sign of trouble with parts support.
I'm very excited to try this truck and feel it will give good results on our track surfaces.
I'm thinking I'll start mm with a shorty, any pointers to this build?

Is the buggy 3 gear a drop in fit or do you need to drill holes?

3 gear stand-up should drop right in. 3 gear lay-down is a different story. That is my understanding.

Good to know, I have to with my order but waiting on a few back ordered items.
Building my kit now and have to say it's a PITA. Missing items find in other bags and the screws..

Strange I've built many Kyo kits and never had a missing piece. It does take some getting used to as far as how they lay out the parts in the bags and where and why. If you are indeed missing something let Kyosho America know asap.

In the end all parts showed up but at times it was frustrating looking for pieces and I honestly don't see why they cant put the parts that are needed together or atleast the screws. The end product is worth it and I would do it again but I would approach it different now knowing how they lay the kits out.
Anyone find a lundford set to use?
What servo horn you guys find to use?
Does the rear 3gear work as mid?

I'm in the process of building an RZ6T myself. We'll see how it goes.
