Default Repair closed cell foam insert.

Hey guys I was wondering if there was any way to repair torn closed cell inserts.

can they be glued back together?

You can use dots of CA glue but it can cause inconsistences. I might do that for a practice set for not for tires Id race on.

Or my bashers I'd do that on. Not sure what else youd tear inserts on though.

The first closed cell inserts were for 1/8 scale. We used to cut them down for 1/10 scale and re-join them with rubber cement and those held up really well, while leaving a pliable joint. I’d try rubber cement.

Thanks. I got the tires in an ebay lot. One of wheel hexes was just about stripped out so I used the acetone fume method to get the tire off the wheel. It's going to be used for my son to race the sportsman class in.
