Our track has a 13.5 and a 17.5 no esc timing allowed in either class. The exception however is if you run a 17.5 in the 13.5 you can time it all you want. I have a 17.5 orion VST motor now and I am debating if a timed 17.5 is in the ballpark of a non timed 13.5. Also looking for suggestions on what gearing to run with a timed 17.5.

I am running a B4.1 Worlds with an orion vst 17.5 motor and a orion R10 pro esc.

Last question what is the difference between the orion vst and pro race motors.
