Default Novak Super Duty XR vs. Traxxas EVX

Hi,
I'm making a Kyosho Twin Force and I gotta decide between the Novak XR and EVX. What do you guys think?

hi elmo6s,

fyi - you may want to change those twin motors.. they effective rated at 7.2~8.4... - Ex-Speed Monster 550 motor 19 turns.. to e-maxxx's titan which are rated higher at 14.4V...... more torquer..

or HV-maxx would be cool...click on picture for twin force review

hmmm... By the time I get the XR and the Titans I might as well just get the HV-Maxx.. I still don't know about getting a Twin Force - How does it handle compared to an E-maxx? How will the gears/diffs hold up to Brushless (maybe a Feigao/warrior sysetm would be the thing to get....)

I believe there was an article on the TF Vs the Emaxx some time back in RC Car Action Magazine. Do a search, maybe you'll find it. As for me, I went along with the TF after reading the article in the mag a long time back. And I haven't regret it since.
In fact, I'm planning to save up for a HV Maxx for my TF

Haha, I already had an e-maxx with about 800 in hop ups and it still wasn't as durable as my T4, Evader, or RC18T. As they say, "God made crap, Traxxas put it on wheels"
