I just finished building a 1/8 buggy (Jammin) and I'm saving my pennies for an engine and electronics. I've been seriously thinking about trying out this clutch... I like the quick adjustment capability and not having to wrangle with the springs on the 3 shoe clutch would be a bonus!

Is anyone running this? Any comments are appreciated.

I like the clucth alot. I have had it in my K3 for a long time. Also, don't worry the first time you run the clutch, or make an adjustment it takes a few laps to warm up, then every run after that it's money. And the wear on te clutch is very good.

Have you got a motor for your jammin yet? If not you should get a REX P5, But if you do make sure you get the one piece motor mount. Because the stock motor mounts are not made for the Novarossi Motors.

I have been running the Power clutch system on my RB ws7II for about 3 months and it works great. The only thing is you need to follow the instructions that come with it. You must put a little Blue lock tight on the adjusting nut so it dosent screw it self down. I run the rulon shoes with the middle hardest spring. they wear pretty good. The teflon shoes i just instaled i will try them this weekend and and give a report on how good or bad the work.

Sgt_Morrow, no I don't have a motor for the Jammin' yet. I will consider the P5 though! It costs a little less than the WS7II I had planned on buying... do you know how the 2 engines compare?

The P5 is a short track motor with very good low end. The WS7II is better suited or larger tracks. The WS7II is also a little clutch and pipe sensitive. W/ the ws7II try kyosho black shoes(trimmed) with 1.1 or 1.0 springs. The p5 runs great with just about any clutch setup and i like either an 086 pipe or the jp-2.

I have tried a 86 and 63 pipe with my Ws7II and found out with the 63 i get great bottom end, to the 86 ...i have crazy top end power. the track i run on is a short track so the 63 works better. The P5 is a very good motor!!! there are different versions of it i think, like a 421 b or somthing like that..short stroke.. but they are very good and last longer than O.S motors
