Hi Monkeyman101,

I bought a Rustler XL-5 (brushed motor & NiMH battery) this year. The upgrades that I have

purchased so far are :

- Spektrum DX2S radio. has LCD screen with telemetry.

- Traxxas wheelie bar. (Part no. TRA3678) - Stops the car from flipping when applying the throttle.

- Traxxas battery expansion kit. (Part no. TRA3725X) - Allows for bigger batteries.

- Turnigy 10000mah 2S 40C LiPo . Has Traxxas plug - connects straight into car. (Needs battery expansion kit)

Car now runs longer than I've driven it in a single session on a full charge.

- Imax B6ac Pro charger. Standard rustler came with an AC charger. To charge Lipo's I needed separate charger. This charger is AC powered ie. plugs straight into the wall outlet. will do balanced charging up to 6S lipo.
