Default need help picking the right battery

I bought a ae b4.1 and would like advise on the type of battery i should get for it.
it says 2s or a 3s can be used. I'm not sure which I should pick. they recommend their wolfpack 2s 3000mah 25c 50c burst but Im nervous about if this will no produce the performance I will need to keep up with the other guys.
but im afraid if i go with a 3s of the same c ratings it will be too much.

what do you guys suggest?

If your just starting, don't worry about keeping up - just focus on getting around the track. Otherwise a 2s 3000+ man 30+ C pak is going to be plenty.

Can't beat this battery for the performance OR the price! Should be a great starter pack for you! Danny at SMC is great!

+1 FYI, if you end up buying another lipo, Venom offers lifetime warranty. Free replacement for the first year also.

I thought about that but I don't think they do. they don't mention it on the rules page of their site.
and it's pretty well protected. as in it's right in the middle away from vulnerable impact areas.

it should fit their wolfpack battery the recommend for it has a foam piece in front of it and it's only a few mm shorter and a lot wider than the turnigy.

if they say something I could make a fiberglass box for it. (I make fiberglass motorcycle farings as a side job)
