1\8th Scale "Electric" Buggy
Hey guys, I got out of Nitro last year and have been racing electric. But I sure do miss my 1\8 scale buggy. I had a project in mind which I am sure somebody out there has done as I can remember seeing a picture somewhere. But I was thinking of converting a buggy (maybe a Hyper 7) to electric.
Not sure if one motor would be enough so I had thought of using an E-Maxx dual motor setup.
Pease post some pics if you have them of what you have seen or done or give me some tips.
I plan to either so this or get a XXX-4 but it just wouldn't be the same.

Single motors like the hacker c50, feigao 540L series, Plettenberg Big Maxxum, Lehner 1930 and 1940 series are plenty of motor using only 1 motor.
there are several pages of info and pics here

battery pit stop
Wouldn't it make sense to build an electric buggy that had a quick-change battery pack to run the 20-minute mains. Don't the gas guys have to pit for more fuel?

I think a company needs to start this craze. I don't care for electric but I'm all for something new.
