Default ProTek Servos

I received my pre-Black Friday sales newsletter from AMain Hobbies tonight with a really good deal on their line of ProTek servos. Was thinking of picking up one (or two). Has anyone used them yet? What do you think? I heard they tested out really well against the competition. I think the sale starts today at 5am PST on http://www.amainhobbies.com. Looks like they have a lot of great stuff on sale.

I would give them a try. They look good and have good specs as well. I'm sure they are made for Amain by a big servo manufacturer and I bet they have a good warranty and customer service since they are an Amain brand.

I decided to pick up one of the ProTek hi torque servos. Really looking forward to it. Heard they are great. Also, ordered one of the 4x lipo chargers they had on sale for only $25! That is ridiculous. Great deal.

I'm curious to see what company makes them. I looked at the price, but the Protek servos looked to be same price, just shown in ad for marketing...

Grr...I'm getting all sorts of 404 errors trying to navigate their site. Now the 4x Lipo charger that was in my cart has disappeared and it is no longer listed in the Pre Black Friday sale section.

I found it listed under chargers and when clicked it says product not found. Clearly someone made a mistake and they have pulled it.

Those servos sure have a radiopost similarity to them.

I've been running Protek 250Ts in a 700 size helicopter for a while now and they are still performing great, the amount of dynamic torque is amazing!

It's out of stock and sold out. First come first serve.... the 404 errors you're getting is from their web server working too hard. As an IT guy, sounds like they're having Disk I/O errors or issues.

I'm not really too impressed. They're basically just a rebranded Savox.

Nothing like a Savox. The Protek servos are quieter and don't have the massive power draw of the Savox servos. I have one of the high voltage Proteks in my e-Truggy, and a standard high speed Protek in my SCTE. Both are working very well so far.

I had it in my cart and was going to buy it...it's like going to a store and taking something out of someone's cart while they are in line to check out. I'm punished because their site wasn't working properly. Sucks.

A Main is going to have an entirely new sale tomorrow morning. Last night I received my advance notice newsletter at 6pm with a listing of what was going to go on sale. That allowed me to focus on what I wanted and then go right to that product. I think they are going to have an entirely new line of stuff available for savings tomorrow and maybe they are releasing more of their limited products in the morning too. I couldn't believe it when I saw that quad charger for only $24. I will be looking at my e-mail tonight to see if I receive another advance notice newsletter for tomorrow's sale.
