Default 2012-2013 E-BETA Tire Thread

"BETA is an exciting new brand offering a wide range of competition 1/8th R/C Off-Road Tires.
Developed extensively through the summer with European & USA World Finalists, we have worked tirelessly on improving all areas of tire design. We have focused intensively on compounds, tread patterns, carcass design, and inserts to bring together the best possible package for the consumer. Using only the highest quality materials, we have developed a range of 4 tread patterns in 3 compounds to excel on all track conditions, and suit all handling characteristics.
Available with or without inserts, with white or yellow wheels or without wheels, or pre-mounted and glued. Beta Racing Tires offer the competitor the option to choose between the standard dual compound precision ground insert, or an optional softer or firmer foam insert for added tuning."

Tips from the Pros:
Mount the Beta Dual insert with the Green side towards the inside of the car.
Clean the tire bead with brake cleaner on a clean tower before gluing.

Just thought it was time to get a new "official" thread up, as the last one was deleted. I have been running these tires exclusively since they have been released and have not had a surface that I couldn't find traction on.

Early Pre-Mount tires did have issues with the beads breaking loose, but that issue is now solved. With that being said, if you plan on gluing up a set on your own clean the tire and wheel beads with regular brake cleaner. This cleans out all the mold release agents from the factory and will help provide a strong bond. All Beta tires, wheels, and foams are available at HobbyProUSA.com.

Let's get chatting folks
