Before you drop some cash on some packs, try out some higher C batteries to see if that fixes the issue. And like ilanstylz said, if you are running an amp hungry servo, it can cause the mmp to do all sorts of weird things. If the battery does nothing, i would try an external BEC. If the battery works, of all the batteries I have tried, the revtechs are the best IMHO.

I'm almost positive its his lipo's, I had the same issue back when I first got my sc10 4x4 and ran it with the MMP........ But I agree see if you can borrow someone else's lipo at the track with a high c rating and see if that fixes it, I would also invest in the castle bec just for safe measure. And yes the revtech's are some of the best, but also very expensive lol.......

Hey guys got my new batteries. Truck still same issue. I have narrowed it down to the motor as I have ran several 540's with no problems. I am thinking its a voltage issue as someone suggested. With a slight squeeze of the throttle 25% I can drive it all day but if I punch it it hesitates causing the steering and throttle response to stop for a moment. Servo is an old hitec 645mg. Do I need caps or a bec?

Ok got it running with the cc bec. What kind of top speed should I have with this motor. With a 32p 14/62 gearing and a 5600mah 50c 2s lipo im at 28mph on the gps. Does this sound righr? It was a used motor so I want to make sure the motor is running at peak performance as I have do not know how it runs new. Thanks again for the help!
