I hope that's the case.

IMO only some EB48 lighter and some SCT410 heavier

maybe some EB48 with MT shell...

Diffs are the same. Drive line is all new. Shorter for the width and lighter. You can replace the center drive line with the EB48 drive line (you need to swap diff couplers, outdrives, and axles). The F/R wheel axles are dependent on the arms you are running. The SCT arms require the rest of the SCT components (hubs, axles, etc).

You shouldn't have any problems running massive power in the SCT.

That's good news. After SHATTERING and SPLINTERING 2 drive shafts (one rear and one center) and snapping 4 CVDs from Losi (3 centers, 1 wheel), I went to the Tekno drive shafts in my SCTE and haven't had those problems since. That's all been with 10th scale 4 pole electrics too, not throwing in 8th scale electrics or anything like that.

Same here. I went through more center shaft CVDs than I could count until I switched to the Tekno parts. I saw a guy with an RTR version break two axles at once the first time he ran the truck. Of course that was on 3s, but still.

The dogbone heads of the Losi cvd's cracked on many STCEs, and the drive pins in the couplers are a bit to small and wear out quickly. But neither I have seen a broken cvd shaft.

I'm really looking forward to getting one of these around the track. I wonder when tekno will release the video that explains how to get the weight down so we know what we will have to upgrade/mod.

don't recall if this has been fixed in the eb48 and hence the SCT410, but do we still need to upgrade the servo horn to one like the Hot bodies one?

Im sure they are still only including the plastic horns , would be way too costly to include a horn for each manuf. servo . And those plastic inserts strip just as easily as a complete horn .

We're all running aluminum servo horns for the best durability. Until we release our own, the best we have found is either this one by Serpent or what I'm currently running, this one by Ofna. The benefit of these two over the Hot Bodies one is it puts less stress on the servo's output shaft.

thanks for the info. looks like the ofna is really low profile, so something similar could be good. Are you guys going to make one similar to the serpent horn or going low profile like the ofna?

Thanks for the tip on the Serpent one. Looks like i'll be ordering a new servo horn
