Heavy,

JConcepts makes a 2 pack of clear chassis protectors. Thus you have to trim to fit but there nice. Playmore's chassis protector I ordered for the 15 XB4 ended up being for the 14 as it to narrow. Hoping the get their protectors made for the 15 soon as the are really nice.

Have a great rest of your weekend my friend

How many mm back from the rear shock tower are XB4 owners setting the wing, or has any one run thier rear wing snug against the back of the shock tower. Track I running tom. is loose dirt but very packed when running the inner lines.

Have an excellent rest of your weekend

It stiffens up the front of the chassis decreasing chassis flex and is installed above the steering rack. I think it is intended for super high bite conditions.

I'd build it in shorty configuration as follows:

3mm aluminum chassis
Carbon fiber front X brace
Side guards
95mm center rear dog bone (use your 2014 88mm bone for the front)
Steel 35T bevels and 14T pinion gears
Center diff
Carbon fiber center top plate
Shorty battery brace
2015 ESC mount
2015 motor mount
2015 composite motor mount
2015 center chassis stiffeners

There are some spacers and small bits etc that I'm probably missing to complete the full conversion, but knowing what I know now, this is how I'd do it. I actually bought all the top decks and the standard 2mm chassis and all the bits through that online auction site, so I did not spend top dollar. I've built it up this weekend finally, but still have not raced it. Still might get the 3mm chassis, but since I race on clay during the summer I will wait to see if it is the way to go or not.

You wouldn't happen to know the exact part numbers do you? Some of them are easy enough to figure out. But some have multiple versions that it gets confusing...

Download the '15 spec manual. Cross check with that.
It's all anyone else would do to answer your question.

Thank you bd581.

(Sigh)...If you go to the Xray site and look in the downloads for the XB4'15, in the exploded diagram view, you can see right there what you need, like I did. You guys gotta stop asking for part numbers, stop being so lazy, go figure it out.

Good news! The top deck repair job held up and is still intact after a day of racing. I'm tempted to leave it on until it fails and then install the new replacement, but I'll likely swap it out and hang on to it as a spare.

Default traction roll misery

I just reconfigured my '15 car from dirt to carpet.

I used this setup http://www.petitrc.com/setup/xray/se...els2015032729/ and added all of the option parts except the rear aluminum hubs.

The problem I am having now though is horrible traction roll.

I have clipped the outer pins on both the front and rear tires and the inner ones on the front like the setup page shows in the pics at the bottom.

However the car still tries to roll on almost any turn. The rear outside tire comes off the ground and if I don't hit the brakes, over she goes.

If I knew that this was just a driver issue and that everyone was having the issue I'd just deal with it but one guy at the track running a ZX can fly through the corner never appearing to lift.

I have turned down steering rate, steering servo speed, tried with, and without drag brake, and everything else I can think of.

Is there anything you guys can suggest that I try?

Run a front sway bar and widen the car. I would start with a 1.6 front bar and go from there. No front bar and low roll center will be a lot of roll in the front and inside rear will come off the ground. You can raise the front roll center to get the car flatter in the front but it might be too twitchy.

I ran the DMX body on my 2014 with saddles. I don't think it will work with shorty configuration though.

Someone have a link to the adapters that will make the car use 44.3 wheels front and rear. Thanks
