I agree with RCGOD. I would go with a 6.5T as you can always dial it back if needed.

Has anyone had issues with running the Exotek 9.5mm (part# 1410) 12mm adapters on your 2015 xb4? My front axle shaft seems to be short and if I install a 9.5 adapter I'll only have about 2.5mm of thread to put nut on. I want to run associated offset wheels.

I use the 22-4 front 4mm hex nuts. The are much shorter and have serations to keep the on.

I have a 14 with carbon setup with a conversion done to shorty and a 15 with stock chassis running saddles,on small scale indoor the carbon shorty setup owns the stock 15 alum setup badly, the 14 is almost a full pound lighter in this config.I like the level of flex it has,I can run the shocks much softer and it stays hooked up great.

Ive yet to try the 15 in shorty config, but im not impressed at all with the 15 in saddle setup on a med bite clay track.

I had considered doing the shorty conversion with my 14 before the 15 was released and wanted to try the carbon chassis as well, but was dissuaded by someone who claimed the carbon chassis wasn't any good. I run on loose dirt and think the extra flex in the carbon chassis may help with traction. I'll probably get the 15 before I do the conversion though.

Hi how did u convert the 14 to shorty?

Is it 15 bulkheads, top decks and centre shafts?

I assume u can mod the carbon chassis to 15 specs too....

i bought it this way. it could have been done much better, but it works really well,im sure there are a few ways it could be done, the front top support has to be fabed up.the weight savings makes the car handle much better and smoother

I am new to this and have a question about shock and diff oils. Sent three emails to RC America attempting to purchase the Hudy shock oils, diff oils and other parts with no response. Where else can you purchase? Or what oils do you suggest I should use? Thank you for your response. New to the Xray.
