Ok thanks for the info guys. Any other suggestions? Also is it worth switching the diff gears to the steel bevel 35t and 14t gears? I was reading in some earlier posts that a lot of people were doing that.

In addition to arms and hinge pins, get some hinge pin inserts, front diff case, and diff gears if you're staying with the plastic gears. A good upgrade is the metal diff gears.

Where could I get the hinge pin inserts from? Also I know that the diff cases from 14' to 15' are different and that the 15' are much more solid but does anyone know the part number for the 15' diff case?

So, I have a friend that has a 15 and has broken two of the front diff cases. I would not be so quick to jump on those.

Eccentric bushings are out of stock at most places. There is one set here http://www.stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bi...l?pn=XRA362315

I won't be there for the Tekin race, that's a long, crowded weekend, and I have some heavy family situations going on right now. My track is at my house, in Canton, MA, where are you?

Good luck at the race, lmk what you think about the layout. Lots of good people down there at RC Excitement! I already saw a few FB videos of Dakota Phend warming up.

I have only run 300,000 in the center, but I'm thinking I need to drop it to 200,000, maybe even 100K. Running 8K front 5K rear, but may try dropping those too. I want to try saddle, but I don't have the packs and it's hard to convince myself to spring for them when shorty is working, but people are saying it's better for low/medium. This track is considered medium by our standards, but I'm pretty sure it's low bite compared to most areas of the country.

Part number for '14 and '15 diff case is the same. Whatever changes were made was a running change of the part.

I went to do my ride height the other day and I wanted to run 21mm in the rear of my XB4. I went to do this and my rear shocks screwed all the way up and I still wasn't even close. I took my rear shocks apart completely, measured everything and put them back together by the book. I went to measure my ride height and I still had the same problem. Help anyone? thanks.

What dot springs are you running? Can you post a picture?

You need to run 2mm shock limiters and run the spring collars as high on the shock body as they go - then, I think you should be able to get closer to 21mm. I'm not sure how Xray Team guys get down to 18-20mm without cutting their springs otherwise.

That's strange. I have no issues getting to 18mm. I use associated springs but I think the lengths are the same.

Spring length makes all the difference!
