Can someone do a better explanation on the Roll Center with Eccentric Bushings.
I have read the Hudy and Xray setup book guide. The arm mount adjusters (Bushings) still eludes me. I see plenty of description for the upper link with length and mounting height.
Now the 15 has a higher rear mount, instead of the normal one.

My xb4 15 should arrive middle of next week. I'm trying to decide if I want to go saddle or shorty. I plan on running the center diff and my local track is indoor dirt/clay medium amounts of traction.
I have seen a few posts that the saddles can be better and kind of smooth things out. But I would prefer to run shorty.
I would appreciate some input.

Anyone with a new center diff try and drop it into the 14? I know the Xray site lists it as compatible, but others believe it won't fit without some extra mods. Just looking for a solid answer as I'll likely try to put one in my 14 if it will work for reasonable cost / modifying.

No, mounting the pins higher gives a lower roll centre.
I have read a bunch as well and my head hurt half way through it. I just go with Martin Bayer's bushing set ups. He seems to run fairly consistent set ups for his surfaces. His bushings change very little from clay to clay tracks, and for carpet it's different of course, but again, carpet to carpet, very little changes. I try not to overthink or confuse myself, just set it and drive!
I'm on the fence about updating my '13 which is not really far from being a '14, with the +2 rear suspension hangers. The team guys seem to run the +2's in the same position as the originals anyhow, so,what's the real benefit?

Does anyone run any sort of grease, diff lube, or anything on the steel gears? Or just run them dry?

who has the center diffs instock, I'd like to try it out..
I tried the shorty pack stock setup, I really like it on a clay track. the rear end seems to be very light and turns on a dime! I have yet to go back to saddles with the 2015, but still experimenting. Does anyone have a good clay setup? saddles or shorty?
