I like running the AE 12mm springs blue front and green rears. I also run the Avid pistons 1.5x1.1 fr and 1.6x1.1 rr, AE 40 fr and 27.5 rr.

I can't say it enough tires and inserts open cell inserts do not last as long but plant the car I run super soft Ion's or dirt webs I use open cell on all 4 and if it's loose I have a set of fronts with AKA red inserts .It will free up the front just enough to keep the rear planted.. spend the extra money on tires rather than chasing setup

+1 tires are everything. I don't run any weight anywhere. And am still on the dirt setup since day one.

So I've been going through my "new to me" 2014 XB4 and am cleaning/replacing things to get it as new as possible. I have the Sweep 10Droids coming along with some Dirtwebs and bought a few sets of the Xray 14mm wheels to mount them to. Hopefully those tires will work well on the hard pack indoor med grip I will eventually be running on?

I use 10Droids for med to high bite indoor clay and they work very well. I use the clay compound with sweeps orange foams. Sweeps makes excellent tires!

I switch to dirt webs when the track starts to dry out, using aka foams front and rear. Caribs hooked. Need to find a set of 10 droids. Want to try a different tire.

Threw that setup on my car for some practice laps last night and it's the best it has been.

I run a 23/24 on my 7.5 Apex depending on which indoor track I run at. Motor usually temps 140-150 @ 6 mins...and I pull all sorts of trigger lol
