I did however change the diff oils after the first day of practice.
Wanted fresh oils in them after braking in the new gears

Got my upgrade kits yesterday
Opened my diffs. All the oil was there
No leaking diffs or shocks, pretty happy

My team mate is using metal gear diffs and has yet to have any problems with it. I've been running the composite gears. Sure enough I ended up stripping my rear diff, but that was my fault for being too careful with the gear housing and not tightening them enough to create a good seal and good gear mesh. After I replaced the composite gears and made sure that the gear case wasn't leaking after a few runs the car seems to be in top form. I'll still probably switch out to the metal gears just for the peace of mind.

@asc6000 :Thanks for the advice, I run on carpet and indoor floor for the first race, I will turn the bleed screw inside after this race.
@305M3 : thank you
@Waflet : I didn't try the Tekin RS and it's my first try with the Reventon. The Reventon pro seem bigger with a massive dissipator. I will tell you more in one week

Tnx. I've got an rs pro in my b4.1 & probably getting a wheeler in the near future. The reventon & the xb4 are currently @ the top of the list for what I want, but I would like as much real world info on the reventon before I buy it.

I finally got the chance to race my xb4 on saturday. I had a fun time with this baby. I did not break any parts! Surprisingly this was my first time ever racing a 1/10 4wd buggy.
The car has a ton of steering IMO. I really like how "she" jumps. I went 35f and 30r losi shock oil with the progressive sprins f/r (Indoor Clay). I'm thinking I should try 37 1/2 Front and 35 Rear. I think the chassis was slapping a little on the big double. I'm curious to know what wt shock oils some of you guys who run on indoor clay are running?

been running reventon pro in 2wd and 4wd for a couple months flawlessly. Even smoother than the GT2.0 Pro if you can believe it. gonna put it in the xray this week.
