I have never noticed a lack of punch between a 3000 to 5000 mah battery. The reduction in weight should compensate if there is any. I corner weigh my car to give it the correct balance front to rear and side to side.
Ok thanks. I tried the Orion 3800 today and it felt great Could not note any difference in punch vs my 5000 mah
Is the car more silent with the composite gears?

I sure am glad I gave up on the b64d and got the xb4 for christmas. There's already a few pages on how to shim your diffs. My xb4 diffs felt perfect building them to manual specs. I think it is crazy that AE's manual says to use 7 shims. To me that sounds like some crappy molds/design if you need 7 shims. Anyway I get to run mine this Sunday as long as the weather allows me to drive over to bumps/jumps.

Anyone ever have any issues with the stock 14 composite shock caps. The aluminum exotek ones I've always run on it have worn out inside the eyelet and have lots of slop. I have some composite ones on hand, but am concerned they might pop off or leak...

Not a single issue nor a drop of oil out the stock ones I've had on mine.

Car is pretty quiet. You will notice significant improvement in acceleration and deceleration. Car will feel more on edge though.

What length are you running your shocks at (from the bottom of the lower cap to the top face of the shock end) to get this ride height?

Screwing down the shock eyelets is how I would lower the ride height tho right? I'm at like 25mm right now.

Be careful not to screw the shock eyelets down too tight or it can cause the ball ends to bind. To lower ride height you adjust the shock collars up (to lower) or down (to raise).
