After a big race last week did some testing this past weekend and tried out a few things, here's the set-up finally landed on and like the best.
Winter Blitz Race setup... fast lap 15.28 and average 16.08
Thornhill setup using AE springs and 2x1.6/1.1 pistons... best I could turn was 15.45 fast lap and average 15.9s
New Setup... switched back to Xray 4dot front and 3dot rear and dropped front shock oil from 42.5 to 40 and ran a 14.68 fast lap with average 15.2s

Looks like you're laying down the rear shock and adding 1 degree toe in for more bite, correct? I've done this and it locked the rear in but did not rotate well at all. However, that was with the 12 degree caster block. I also had the longer steering block bushings on top which seemed to give more turn in, but perhaps killed my exit. Didn't see where the camber links were positioned, top or bottom hole?

Yes, and Camber links are both bottom holes.

why such stiff springs on a clay track and camber link is down - typically ive run camber link up on the shock tower for more side bite and corner speed.

Depending on jumps on the track and the step downs, the soft springs seemed to dive down too much and almost push. Went I went with the stiffer springs is when the car felt the best for my driving style.

Cool thanks i'm running red 3.90 and black 1.90 and it felt a little soft i was gonna try orange 4.05 and green 2.00 this weekend.

I just bought a used '16 and I'm going to break it down and redo the setup but I am sitting at work looking it over and something feels off with the steering/drivetrain. Maybe it's supposed to do this but I don't think so. When I spin the spur gear it turns the front hubs left and right. If I put the hubs straight forward and spin the hexes I can feel the hubs wanting to turn left/right. And if I grab the servo linkage and move it to steer the front hubs it make the front drive shaft and spur spin when I turn it. Unless i move the servo linkage fast back and forth it kinda breaks free and doesn't turn the hubs anymore. Then if I move the arms/shocks up and down and move the linkage again it

Also just noticed when I spin the spur and it turns the hubs to full lock and I keep spinning the spur both the hexes in the rear spin but only the right front hex spins. The left hex doesn't spin

It almost sounds like a CV pin might have spit out and grabbing something.
If your able to post a link to a video would be easier to see whats going on.

Ok I will try to record it on my next smoke break. The easiest way I think to explain this tho is I put the front hubs straight ahead then grabbed both rear hexes and spin them. If I spin them forward the front end turns right if I spin the rear hexes backwards the front end turns left. And once the hubs hit full lock/turned position the rear hexes get harder to spin and the left front hex stops spinning (only the fron right hex will spin at full lock).

Seems it would be a problem with the front diff, but that's just a guess......
