Malin trying out the new double-decker layout at the new Cartec RC Arena track in Sandefjord, Norway with her Xray XB4

Very tight and certainly technical but a lot of fun

The yellow and black for the outlines is tough on the eyes. If they used a sold color I bet that would not be so bad.

Well took the 16 car for its maiden ride today. A and B mains on 4wd. I qualified 3rd in the A and finished 2nd. Was 1st for over half the race but made a few small bobbles towards the end . Super impressed with the car especially since I ran it box stock. Very easy to drive and I could push it pretty hard. The slipper seemed to work very well. Should I upgrade to the center diff?

I got the xb4 purely for the centre diff
I feel it's more composed, slipper seemed inconsistent on low medium clay.

I've tried 100/500k for it. I'm sticking with 500k for now

Not sure for the US, but the UK distributor said on Facebook the other day, that he'd had the email from XRAY, saying kits were in stock & ready to order now.

Definitely impressed with this buggy more and more as I get drive time on it. This past weekend was 2nd race with the XB4 and the car just flat out performs.

So far on our high bite clay I've been running 8-300-5 with HW 6.5 and HW 120A V2 ESC and geared at 21/81 with 15* timing. After quals and mains only coming off at 150* on the motor and 100* on the ESC. The car just feels planted every where.

I tried the 12* Exotek Casters in practice Friday and for the number of tight turns and 180s didn't like how they felt, almost like a little pushing going into the turns but felt good exiting the turns. I went back to the composite 9* ones and could hold a tighter line thru the turns with the 9* ones and still drive it hard.

try going up to 500k or 1 mil cst oil in the center diff - at first it will seem harder to drive but once you get used to it it's much faster (i recommend 1 mil on med-high bite clay where slicks are used)

also the 12* c hubs offer more high speed stability, bump handling, and on power steering. so depending on your track these may or may not feel good to you.
