This was only on first production kits of XB4'15, all customers got a free replacement part. You shouldn't worry about it

Any tips?? Im a 2wd guy so this insane traction is different..

The track is high grip carpet track.
Few things to try:
* Harder springs
* Try getting ride height as low as possible if you don't have big jumps
* Cut the outer and inner line of pins on the rear tires
* Harder insert in the rear (AKA red inserts helps reducing traction a bit)

good luck!

Thank you, didn't want to look for a problem that isn't there.

Was told by a team driver to ca glue the outer side wall of front tire.

Trim/Dremel the outside row or two of pins off the rear, cut/Dremel the outside row off the front tyres, I was running my YZ-4 like that on high grip astro yesterday.

Or depending on the grip & your style, maybe even run 2wd cut staggers & trim the wheels down.

For carpet when running the Schumacher Wide Stagger and Mini Pin combo we use CA glue and accelerator on the outside sidewall in the front and cut one row of pins off on the outside and inside of the rear tires.

No need to cut anything on the front tires.

No, only the cut on the rear tires.

She's running 9 degree caster hubs and steering knuckles in graphite.

Bent,
One last question...
Rear carbon stiffer a noticeable change for high traction carpet with the 2016 xb4?

For high traction surfaces like the EOS carpet we run the carbon stiffener with only the forward screw and the 2 rear screws for the bulkhead on top.

On bottom we run all flex screws.

Did you mount them yourself or are they premounts? What inserts?
Also if you take a close look at the pics of Marlins there are 2 angled rows out or 3 depending on what way you mount them. If you have the 3 rows out it will make the front bite almost uncontrollable.

I did mount myself. I didn't notice that at all on my tires, but makes sense!! I'll take a look at that this evening.

Bent, how bout for med-high grip indoor clay (slicks and electrons tire of choice - almost cement like).

What screws would you recommend removing for the hard rear center chassis brace?

Right now I just have the 1 screw in front of the 2 bulkhead screws, but I was thinking of taking the one in front of that out as well...thoughts?
