Yeah I had a issue finding it. for some reason its not on the xb4 16 page. try looking on the xb4 15spec. Or you can go to the search link on the xray like I did and just type in his first name. you will seee his xb2, xb4 and his xb8 setups.

here is the setup

Also if you can get or dont have the avid springs you can use AE blue front and AE black in the rear as those are super close to the avid purple and white

Thx! Interesting spring rates. Closest in X-ray would be 2 dot for front. Spring rate is higher than 3 dot rear, perhaps 4 dot rear. I have all these X-ray springs. A little irritating their incremental jumps in spring rate are so drastic so have to get other springs/cups for the tweener rates. Maybe I'll get some yokomo sets....

That's a pretty heavy weight oil. Then again I'm new to 4wd. This normal for the xb4 and other 4wd buggies on clay?

How good of quality are these compared to the xray ones?

Also does anyone know where to buy the Differential Bevel & Satellite Gears (2+4) Part:335030 and the Diff Pins Part:335080

seriously lol xb4 set to 0mm with std pads, barely ever slips. basically non existent with a 5.5t motor and 18/81 gearing i believe it is.
my "15" was the same. slipper backed right off and no slip at all on carpet.it would do wheelies when punched hard.. i run loose outdoors and it was giving me all types of grief.
turns out it had #364181 c=45 slipper spring as per manual . i orderd #364180 c=30 . the new spring is much smaller and softer. im able to set the slipper to suit the conditions much better now

I would think it would really be 1 dont front because the 2 dot is 4.11lbs and the setup I posted calls for 3.63lbs. As for the rear the xray 3dot springs are 2.57lbs and the setup I post calls for 1.84lbs. So like I posted if you want to run the setup posted above or close to it you need to run either the avid purple front and white rears or run the AE Blue front and black rears which are super close to the listed above rate.

I run yatabe springs on carpet and ae springs on dirt. Xray springs are junk IMO.

Must have had my spring rates way off. Going by this chart thinking Xray 2dot front is 3.71 and 1 rear is 2.0...to just experiment with what is on hand. I'll try that weight oil too.

Btw - does using the 21mm new extended rod ends help with the chassis slap? Going to Ty on my xb2 today. Could barely use them as the dog bone plunge has the bones almost coming out of the diff

Are there any 14mm alternatives to the 12mm 2 and 3 stripe wide hexes? Have a load of 14mm wheels that Id like to hang on to.

The +0,75 14mm hex will give you same track width as two stripe 12mm hex if you are comparing with Xray rims.

I don't believe there is a +1,5 mm hex in 14mm, but that would give you same width as a three stripe.....

does anyone know if theres any type of springs that fit on the xray xb4 without changing spring perches or having to mod anything? how about the kyosho springs? i spent a good amount of money on getting all the xray springs. sucks theyre not ideal :/
