Yes there should be some interesting things come March. Nice buggy out of the box though. One of the easiest builds I've seen in awhile

asc6000 that's for the rear if I'm not mistaken, have there been many failures in the rear diff cases and shock mounts?

I don't know if it's common but my rear diff case broke when another car landed on mine (mostly hitting the rear). Tower looked untouched.

Default Maybe try boiling the gear cases?

Has anyone tried dropping the gear cases into just-boiled water? I used to do that to my HPI Pro4 diff gears to get them to prevent them from stripping. I wonder if it would work with the xray gear cases? Maybe add some flexibility to the part?

I'm not sure how many people have actually striped out diff gears but I think it would be a good idea for everyone, particularly with new kits, to run one pack through then pull the diff and tighten the four little screws again. Mine started to skip teeth today on it's third pack through the car and the diff appeared to have settled in a little allowing the screws to be tightened some which stopped the gear issue. I pulled the front and they were a touch loose too but not as bad.

That said, NT1 gears will be on the way just in case.

I did exactly that today, $50 for a body and wing, gears arms axles add up fast. The motor mount bulkhead extra diffs, shocks...
The best part is I got it at my local hobby shop ! and cheaper than online ! and got some parts too !

Does anyone know who has the steel NT1 gears and pins in stock? Broke a gear tonight at practice and can't seem to find any online and they're backordered at RCAmerica

my failure... uhh, the cars failure was the rear camber link snapping off that little section of the tower, it's not laid up very well. The weird thing is how it happened.
There is a small double with a tight 180 at the landing, the lane divider is white pvc pipe stacked 2 high and secured by huge spikes. I landed on top of the pipe, super slow section, and as the car skidded (2-3feet) along it caught that spike. It slid off the pipe and I drove away, a few turns it was obvious something broke.
HERE is where I think it gets really weird. If the spike caught the front of the car (looked like it did) then why the rear link ? and no sign of the spike catching the front.... OK, so lets say the spike didn't catch the front but it caught the BACK arm.... how would that snap the link ? again no sign of the spike hitting anything. And even if it did catch the arm, how would that snap that ball mount ? no way ... Tire ? ok, can't see the damage, and uhh, it's rubber rolling straight over the spike...no....
At some point I'm taking an old tower and do a bench test to see what it takes to pop off a ballcup or snap the "carbon fiber"
