High grip is mostly stiffer springs and sway bars, with the slipper. The graphite composite parts are nice if you're running clean.
Any low to medium grip setups (DIRT) XB4 2016

Quick question about which plastics to use on the 16 xb4. I race on a clay track that rarely goes below medium traction imo. We can run golds all the way down to slicks with tread on the edges and still be good to go. I have the medium center braces and medium sides on the car. Should I change back to hard? I have a big race this weekend and traction will come up pretty fast I think. I am thinking hard plastics will be the ticket. Thanks for the help

Just picked up a 2016 to join my 2 xb2 family. Minor detail is I really don't like the body. Any aftermarket bodies that are not so square and moderately closer to the moon of more 2wd style buggies? Thx

ECS Driveshaft Question...

Is there a real benefit to running them on the rear of the car? I can definitely see where they would help with the front end and steering near full lock...just wondering if there is a real difference when running them on the rear?

I could theoretically see them helping with take off and landing jumps...is it that big of a difference?

Thanks,

Jake

Just picked up an xb4 -16 and am coming off stock buggy and a mod sct. Thinking of starting with a 13.5 to learn how 4wd's handle incrementally. Any tips setup wise with 13.5? Should I just run the slipper? What benefit is the gear diff? Thanks much!

Stock 2016 setup with the center diff (400k-500k). Also try the 1.1x6 shock pistons.

Then experiment with lowering the front hingepins and long and short rear camberlink positions.

In general high roll center works well.

Thanks,

i personally run just the fronts and everyone i know runs just the fronts.

i dont see how it would help the rears, excpet maybe keep the camber the same even when bottomed out? maybe? i dont think its worth it.

I'm sure this has been asked somewhere in the previous 725 pages but could someone point me to a parts commonality list between the xb4 2015 and 2016? I bought a used xb4 with a lot of spares and I have a 2016 on the way as well and would like to know what interchanges.

Thanks guys.
