Unless you have loads of 12mm wheels from another car, I'd say yes, stick with the 14mm wheels for now, until hex widths are nailed down more.

Kit comes with 1 set of white 14mm hex wheels and an unpainted body

There's nothing wrong with the standard 14mm wheels

But if you want to go with the new Xray 12mm wheels hex widths are already tried and tested

Xray wheels only come in white though.

Very rarely for the composite arms.

The graphite arms can sometimes be a bit tight though.

Ok I'm assuming the kit comes with composit arms.

Just ordered.

If someone can link me to a setup sheet to like ocrc (west coast track), that'll be great!

Thx

Yes composite arms are standard

You can download the entire manual here:

http://www.teamxray.com/xb4/2016/download/

Part numbers for stock and option parts are all in there

I was looking at the clay setup sheet. It says 2 1.4mm hole and 3 1.3mm hole piston, 3 and 2 dot springs, with 600 and 450 cst... does this come in the kit?

thx

Page 30 and 31 in the manual has all the info you need (but in short….YES).

We use the Xray pistons drilled to 2x1.6 and 2x1.7.

Either drill the 2x1.4 or the blanks that come with the kit.

600-750cst in front and 500-550cst in rear depending on grip level.

1 dot springs front and rear for low to medium grip or stiffer if higher grip.

You can always die the white rims using rite die. You tube dying plastic RC rims as there are a lot of videos showing how to properly die plastics to the desired color one may want. White rims are perfect for obtaining the color one may want when using rite dye.

Bentka,

Do you know if the 81mm front drive shaft will work when setting the 16 XB4 motor config. in the optional farther back position. I was able to purchase the 95mm cvd from the XRAY-shop Austria and thought they would have the 82mm CVD, however they are not positive when they will obtain new 82mm cvd stock.

Thus wondering if the 81mm front drive shaft will work only being 1mm shorter.

Thank you as always for your help.

Best

The rear hubs are different on the '16. Only one pivot hole and it looks like it has been moved a little.

Malin uses the aluminum hubs, which are more like the '15 hubs. This maybe why they are using the +1.50mm offset on the rear. Am I right Bent? Or do the two wheels actually have different off sets?

I have not had time either to do measuring but i recon if you use the '16 plastic hubs with 0.00mm off set (#365353) you may have the same rear track width as the '15 car. I have some of the hubs, just not the 1.50mm ones.
