The 2016 is vastly different. Just wait for the new car.

It's cool that they have addressed every gripe I had about the '14 model, except the price of spares will still be through the roof.

Quick question regarding setup. I'm trying a carpet setup from petitrc by Martin Bayer and when he says 2mm shim on the the c-hub is that a additional 2mm over the kit conical 2mm shim, the reason I ask is some place where the kit already has the 2mm conical shim and he list another 2mm it just seems a little too much.

2mm total. So just the stock shim.

A really good tip is to make a bulkhead brace for the front. An upside-down U that's the most valuable upgrade and cvd covers in alu.
Arms
Hinge pins
Bulkhead rear only if you make the brace.
Rear hubs

We had
10 10
2x1.1 +2x1.5 f 35 3 dot
2x1.1 + 2x1.6 r 30 1 or 2 dot
Middle out shocks
Minispike topdeck

The 3mm chassis did a good job or the stiffeners and CF brace without upper deck

Think ill probably upgrade from my '14 even though I really have no complaints about it.
I think the motor forward is the standard
Standard is 72+105 which indicates fwd motor

Cost of spares high...frequency of needing spares low. Seems to be about a wash to me. Having to pay extra for the center diff was a bit annoying though.

We have a few guys locally that run the xray. Upkeep is not cheap. They do break.
