Is it recommended to use the steel 14t gear when using the steel or aluminum 35t diff gear?

Or are you able to use the composite 14t gear with them?

Anyone got any video footage of their 15 cutting laps on a
clay track?

I've tried the composite 14t gear with the steel 35t gear, doesn't work, the steel gear is smaller then the std composite ones, so the 14t gear doesn't mesh.

That's my car(white) on high bite clay. The car works extremely well on clay tracks with a shorty pack.

Haha thank you! That race had a lot of luck go my way but I was very happy getting the win. The car was so consistent all day it's such an easy car to drive hard. Shorty pack with center gear diff was the ticket.

The steel 14T (#365134) is recommended used together with either the steel (#364955) or the aluminum (#364945) 35T bevel gear.

We also make sure to pair up a steel 14T gear to whatever steel or aluminum 35T gear we use as they wear differently when used in combination with either steel or aluminum 35T gears.

For the composite 35T gear we only use the composite 14T pinion gear.

Also I run on low-medium grip dirt and we have a bumpy sweeper and all through the sweeper the rear end is all over the place because it bounces and also at different parts of the track. I've already tried smaller hole pistons in the shocks in the rear to try to give the rear more pack and it's still not getting the job done. Any suggestions?
Depends on the track layout and grip.

We usually start with steel 14T pinion, aluminum 35T bevel gear, alu. hard coated pins and steel bevel + satellite gears.

If we want a more agile handling car we usually throw in the composite 14T pinion, composite 35T, alu. hard coated pins and graphite bevel + satellite gears

Regarding your damper setup it might sound like you either are way too soft so that it bottoms out or you are way over damped and it packs up and starts bouncing instead.

What are you running for pistons, oils and springs ?

When it comes to the 14T bevel gear, purely from a grip point of view, would you choose to use the steel gear (2015) or the composite gear (2013 & 2014) again if durability wasn't a concern.

Thanks
Our starting point for a really blown out low grip track is steel 14T pinion, steel 35T bevel gear, alu. hard coated pins and steel bevel + satellite gears.

Steel 14T gear is recommended used together with either the steel or the aluminum 35T bevel gear, not with the composite one.

We also use the steel 14T gear in pairs with the steel or aluminum 35T gears to ensure a perfect mesh between them as they have different wear characteristics

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZqqiMmPCvo

Didnt find any on teamxray.com (except XB42WD)
