Yes this can happen to any company but considering how much they talk about German engineering and quality, it's dissapointing. Where was qc? Didn't they do any in-process inspection? No final inspection? Was the machinist drinking coffee and reading the paper when he should have been spot checking his work? Sorry it's frustrating because I'm a quality inspector and machinist by trade and I see these problems a lot when companies get in a hurry and skip qc.
I'd like to see BentKa's response to this.

Is this definitely with the 2015 only? I have a 2014 and while it appears "correct", I didn't take it out to measure it...

The 2014 kits didn't come with the +2mm rear mounts. So unless you put them on you're ok.

This pic is from the xray website. Looks to me like this one is off too. I hope my eyes are playing a trick on me. If not that means they've been off center since the beginning when the mounts came out last year.

I had posted this 9 days ago about my conversation with RCAmerica, so he was already somewhat aware. Thanks to all who confirmed, hopefully it gets sorted out in a timely fashion.

I feel better now. You're the one that opened the can of worms! Hope they get if fixed soon. Just got a replacement rear mount from amain and it's off.

Just ordered the 2014 rear mounts. Fyi amain has them on clearance for $19.95

What type of surface will you be racing on?

Wow, it certainly does look off........seems like they are all long on the right side(or short on the left), makes sense I guess if they were all machined with the same settings.

This is my first Xray, and I have to say, though some things are of great quality, between this, the fact that my dogbones bottom into the drive cups and stop me at half travel if I try to use the inner insert positions, and the terrible leaky/loose shock seals.....I'm a bit dissapointed. Perhaps they rushed this one out the door a bit too quickly.

Are you going to shim the gearbox up or just use it as is and put the inserts in the 1 deg top positions? I suppose the latter should be the equivalent of having the +2 with the inserts in the lower positions.......

FYI, I just set mine up with zero inserts on all but the right rear, which got a .5 deg insert in the inner/middle roll center position and it evened things up for now. Just sux that it will be my only option for adjustment.

been running those parts since last year on my now shelf queen 2012 xb4. I will measure those as well, the RR +2 is off center correct? I should have thrown it onto the setup station to check rear toe .

Hmn, I have the Brass +2mm Brass units NIP yet as I never tried them out, hopefully Xray will replace any faulty parts.
