I measured from the inside edge of the screw hole to the outside edge of the square hole and had about .5mm difference between the sides....and it was also noticeable by eye when looking at the gap from the arm.
Sounds like we both have the same issue then. Unfortunately rc america doesn't have any in stock so I ordered one from amain. Hopefully the replacement part doesn't have the same issue.

After racing last week my buddy mentioned that the rear of my car was kicking sideways under acceleration. I didn't notice it when driving but it's still not good. Now I know why.

[QUOTE=Wease;13794662]I run a Reedy Sonic Mach2 7.5t with the HobbyWing V3.1. I don't customize the settings ESC for anything except brake strength & neutral width. Is it possible your spinning the wheels when you punch the throttle and losing some forward bite? Maybe you've actually got too much power you're actually losing traction with the initial punch and you don't realize it? Have you tried going back to the slipper and seeing if you can clear the quad?

Yes with the slipper i was able to clear the quad, so with that said i went ahead and opened the center diff up to put 200k into it but saw that the center diff was almost empty. So i ended up just putting 100k back in and it worked fine. I did notice some oil around the spur and was wondering if anyone was having the same issue. this time i put some grease around the edge before putting it together..

Mine always seem a bit dry after the first run with a new diff. The oil gets into all the nooks and crannies making it look like it leaked out. Just refilll and you will be GTG.

I'm guessing there's a good chance that even if you buy one from Amain it'll be off then. I really hope Xray gets on this, figures out why, and gets some proper parts out to us.......

Same here, off by .30mm. Rcamerica will have the phone ringing off the hook tomarrow. It's all good if they make it right.

Damn I guess I opened up a can of worms. The good news is you can make the toe angle even by using a .5 offset insert sideways. The bad news is you can only get 2.5 or 3.5 toe.

Yah that's a better option if you have them.

I just picked up a set from an RCTech member, his for sale post was from back in September so hopefully they were machined on another day than these recent blocks.

I'm sure Xray will rectify the issue. For a company that boasts doing everything in house, and making a high quality parts, this non symmetrically machined rear toe block issue will give Mr. Hudy fits. They have already had to issue a V2 to their build manual, that shows things were a wee bit hurried.

Making new (correct) parts, sending them out for anodizing, and getting them out to the distributors isn't going to be an overnight fix. I will be surprised if the new parts are available anytime soon.

Yes this can happen to any company but considering how much they talk about German engineering and quality, it's dissapointing. Where was qc? Didn't they do any in-process inspection? No final inspection? Was the machinist drinking coffee and reading the paper when he should have been spot checking his work? Sorry it's frustrating because I'm a quality inspector and machinist by trade and I see these problems a lot when companies get in a hurry and skip qc.
