Running 5k in the rear, but could bump to 7. Diff is sealed, no issue there.

The problem is your car is driving from the front and the front end is making soo much grip that the rear can't stay planted and just wants to sling around and follow the front. In the end it turns out that my slipper was waaaaayyyyy to tight. The manual recommends something like 5.5 - 6.3mm spacing between the bearing and spring collar. The manual's recommendation is way to tight for those conditions. In the end, I loosened mine to 6.9mm and the problem went away.
Interesting... I will measure.

Default Center diff oil

Need some help from some team drivers. Just got my center diff a couple days ago and wondering what oil to run. I have seen 1,000,000 to 500,000 weight but that to me seems crazy high. I mea I thought the 100,000 in the d413 was high but this is 5 to 10 times as much. Any help would be great. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a misprint

The 2015 comes with 8k for both front and rear in the kit, my son just built his and that's what it came with.

No rear upper deck allows rear to flex more, creating more rear traction. Run on dirt clay mix, medium - high traction so the extra rear traction helps. On carpet the rear deck may be worth running.

Racing on an indoor track with soft slicks, very high grip and fluff only off the groove. My rear has a tendency to come around a bit on power in the corners vs staying planted. Other than that, it feels pretty good.

Running the 2014 clay setup sheet:

Here's another thought. Remove your rear sway bar. I was having the same issue and then a buddy told me to take the rear sway bar off - instantly better. The sway bar was lifting the inside wheel, as it's supposed to do, the front end had a ton of grip and the rear was simply trying to keep up and washing out in corners. You'll notice the basic clay set up on the 2015 has no sway bars on it. Try it.

the diff in the 1/10 scale buggy are way smaller than in sct410 you are going to need heavier in center than 8k or you will probably be wearing out tires
